Art Together: October
UPDATE: Today's workshop will be held indoors.
Art Together is the Zimmerli's FREE drop-in family art workshop series. Each month, join us for a new project inspired by a work on view in the museum, and spend some quality creative time together.
Celebrate the season of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos by making your own Q-tip skeleton inspired by our exhibition Microcosm of Mexico: 100 Original Woodcuts by José Guadalupe Posada. Posada's calaveras, or images of skeletons, were often filled with humor or commentary about everyday life and remain popular around the world.
This session of Art Together will meet outside on Voorhees Mall, weather permitting! Masks are still encouraged and groups will be socially distanced. Families are invited to visit the museum to see the Posada exhibition before or after participating in the art activity (masks required inside the museum). If it is raining, the workshop will be held indoors, and capacity may be limited at times due to COVID-19 protocols.
