The museum is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, major holidays (see below), and in August. Tours may be scheduled starting at 11 a.m., but require 3 weeks' advance notice. Learn more on our Tours page.
Summer Hours (May 8 to July 31)
- The Zimmerli closes at 6 p.m. on Thursdays.
- The Zimmerli lobby is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Holidays
The museum is closed Juneteenth (Observed third Friday of June), July 3-4, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, and December 24 to January 2.
