Museum Closed in Observance of Juneteenth

In 2021, Rutgers announced that Juneteenth will be a recognized as an official university holiday starting in 2022, when it will be observed on Friday, June 17. In accordance, the Zimmerli is closed.
As part of Juneteenth Week in New Brunswick, the Zimmerli invites the public to the Closing Reception for Angela Davis - Seize the Time on June 15. Find complete details here.
In addition, learn more about the quilt Juneteenth in the exhibition Stitching Time: The Social Justice Collaboration Quilts Project, which is on view at the Zimmerli through July 15, 2022.
