Art Together: Crossing Borders
Art Together is a drop-in, art workshop led by the Zimmerli’s experienced teaching artists, inviting families to get creative!
In the 1960s, important exhibitions of geometric abstraction cemented the reputations of artists who created colorful, hard-edged paintings that focused on composition and visual effects. This month, teaching artist, Tommy Peitz, brings an art activity inspired by this movement of artwork and the Zimmerli's current exhibition, Crossing Borders: Geometric Abstraction 1960 to Now. Art together participants will paint their own canvases using the hard-edge painting technique.
Art together is free and provides all the materials needed for participants to create their masterpiece.
