Hank Willis Thomas Selects the NJ Arts Annual

This edition of the New Jersey Arts Annual is a wide-ranging showcase meant to spark  critical thought and encourage close looking. Featured artists include Lavett Ballard, Ana Benaroya, Aaron Boucher, Storm Cuff, Christina Freeman, Sylvan Hamburger, Donté K. Hayes, Caren King Choi, jc lenochan, Jackie Neale, Chelsea Odufu, Miguel Romero-Trejos, Jesse Satterfield, Sasha Stiles, Kimisha Turner, and Roberto Visani.

The New Jersey Arts Annual is sponsored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

This exhibition is made possible through generous support from donors to the Zimmerli’s Major Exhibition Fund: Kathrin and James Bergin, Sundaa and Randy Jones, Heena and Hemanshu Pandya, and Mark L. Pomerantz.

The Zimmerli’s operations, exhibitions, and programs are funded in part by Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and income from the Avenir Endowment Fund and the Andrew W. Mellon Endowment Fund, among others. Additional support comes from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and the museum’s donors, members, and friends.

Generous support for bilingual text was provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.
