About the Museum

Zimmerli Art Museum

The Zimmerli Art Museum is one of the largest and most distinguished university-based museums in the country. It collects, preserves, researches, and exhibits world-class works of art to provide the university community and diverse regional, national, international audiences with direct experience of the visual arts. Scholarly activities make art accessible through exhibitions, publications, and educational programs.

PaparazZi Cafe

The Zimmerli is pleased to announce an updated café, which reopened March 21, managed by PaparazZi. The convenient location on Voorhees Mall (where there currently are no immediate dining options) offers the university community and museum visitors an inviting bistro atmosphere to relax and refuel during their busy schedules. In addition, Zimmerli members receive 10 percent off café purchases as a benefit and Rutgers students are welcome to use RU Express as payment.

The Zimmerli publishes books about special exhibitions or aspects of its collections, often in partnership with international publishers. Publications can be purchased in person, by phone at 848.932.6175, or via email.

Prices listed include sales tax, but do not include shipping and handling fees.
